The debut studio album from Tyla's Dogs D'Amour. 'In Vino Veritas' is a blistering, guitar-driven rock album containing 12 incendiary, new, 111% proof R&R songs. Classic song-writing at its best. After a few well-documented stumbles, it’s now 35 years since The Dogs D’Amour exploded into existence. “Their second album, 'In the Dynamite Jet Saloon', is one of the greatest rock’n’roll records ever made. Ever.
Simply speaking, they were the coolest band that ever was. They were the swaggering, stumbling, hobo kings of rock’n’roll’s back alley. They could out-drink, out-fight, out-fuck and out-rock any outfit you can think of. They wrote about life, and liquor, and love – the real stuff, the kind that tears a good man asunder, and the graveyard of empty bottles it often leaves in its wake. They were the real deal, in a decade when real was lost and presumed dead forever.” (Classic Rock) - In 2016, a box-set re-release of the early Dogs albums re-ignited interest not only in the band & their songs but in their main man – singer, songwriter, guitarist and front-man Tyla. Despite a lifetime in the fast-lane & mishaps aplenty, he is still alive and kicking. Still incendiary. Still stirring up conflict with his art, music, live performances and writing.
He’s a renowned 21st century poet and modern-day troubadour who has never stopped writing, recording, painting and drawing. A travelling man whose home is where his he(art) is. Despite a world in conflict, 2018 is a good time to be alive. A good time to say what you feel and feel what you say. A good time to say it like you mean it and play it like your life depends on it. A good time for another Dogs D’Amour – Tyla’s Dogs D’Amour. 111% proof R&R… Tyla has put together an incendiary new band and he’s recording a brand-new Dogs D’Amour album – 'In Vino Veritas". New songs, new attitude, new power & new urgency. The time is now! Why wait for tomorrow?

'In Musica Veritas' is a special collection of songs that mean something to Tyla - an homage to his musical heroes and influences over the years. In Musica Veritas: The limited edition, double-CD version of In Vino Veritas contains an extra CD In Musica Veritas. A special 10-song covers album containing a collection of songs that mean something to Tyla. It’s an homage to his musical heroes and influences over the years. “There are so many songs that have influenced me in so many different ways over the years. For In Musica Veritas I've chosen a few from my childhood (from listening to the radio & to my sisters record collection) & a few from just after I left home at the ripe old age of 17. I was a Rod and the Faces teenager, and a Be Bop Deluxe and Thin Lizzy fan. 'Summertime Blues' I’d hear on the radio and love as a youngster. Usually I’d hear it on Sunday mornings while me Mom was cooking Sunday Roast. It was the same with 'Waterloo Sunset' and 'Remember Walking In The Sand'. If I remember rightly, it was a requests show. The troops abroad would choose songs for their loved ones back home in Blighty or vice versa. After I left home I got into the likes of The Cars. I loved their guitar sound, along with the 'Get it On' T Rex sound, and that's what I base my own guitar sound on now.”
